The 68th Anniversary of D-Day :: Custom Military Cases and Containers

On this day – June 6th – in 1944, more than 5,000 Ships, 13,000 aircraft, and 160,000 Allied troops stormed the beaches of Normandy as part of Operation Overlord of World War II, a crusade in which General Dwight D. Eisenhower stated “we will accept nothing less than full victory.” The day, which is better known as D-Day, saw more than 9,000 Allied Soldiers killed or wounded, but, in the end, the Allies took the beach and more than 100,000 Soldiers began the long march across Europe to defeat Hitler.
