Interiors for a Custom Military Case

Militay-Case

When equipment is being shipped to any members of our military, it is essential that the equipment arrives in pristine condition. If damage occurs to the equipment during transport, the results could be devastating. Those stationed on the front lines don’t have time to deal with malfunctioning equipment, it could end up being a matter of life or death. In order to prevent such damage from occurring, create your custom military case with interiors that protect your military equipment.
So what type of interiors should you consider for your custom military case?

Climate Controls
While we may not know exactly where some military equipment travels, it is safe to say that the environment is less than ideal . With such harsh temperature changes, it is important to protect your military equipment from the elements. Climate controls help to maintain a stable and ideal temperature within the custom military case to ensure that equipment inside is left in working order. Without these controls, extremely high or low temperature could cause internal damage to your equipment, rendering them useless upon arrival.

Foam Inserts and Liners
While those who handle your custom military case will try to do so with care, there is no telling what kind of conditions your case will be entering. Shocks to the case whenever serious movement occurs could not only damage the exterior of your equipment, but the internal workings as well. Foam inserts and liners will create an absorbent barrier between the case and your equipment to prevent damage from occurring during movement.

Rackmounts
Does your military equipment include computers? Rackmounts allow you to safely store your computers and other electronics safely within your custom military case without the fear of damage to the internal hard drives.

At Packaging Strategies Incorporated, we create custom aluminum cases to protect the important equipment held inside. We know how essential a custom aluminum case is when transporting equipment for military and medical purposes. We pride ourselves on creating cases that meet every need of our customer while also exceeding their expectations, at a price that is affordable and reasonable. We are also proud of our service to every arm of the Department of Defense and United States military.

Choosing your Custom Military Case

Friday, November 21st, 2014

Custom Military Case
Choosing your custom military case can be difficult, and almost stressful. You want to be sure to choose a case that is affordable, efficient, and strong. If your military equipment becomes damaged during travel, your life could be at risk. You need your military equipment to stay safe and secure during travel to ensure proper function and the safety of everyone around you, including yourself. Here are some things to consider when choosing your custom military case:

1. Overall Protection- You must consider the level of protection your custom military case is offering you. You need a custom military case that will not only protect your equipment from the outside, but the inside as well. Look for a custom military case that uses aluminum as its outer shell and that also includes a custom foam interior. The foam interior will help keep your equipment safe from movement and temperature.
2. Equipment- Determine the type of equipment you are transporting in your custom military case. Some types of equipment require more protection than others. Some equipment can be simply placed inside a case while others require a foam interior and other customizations.
3. Arrival- When choosing a custom military case, keep in mind where your equipment is heading. Locations that have extreme hot or cold temperatures require cases that offer temperature control options. Locations that see plenty of rain or high levels of humidity require cases that are watertight, which will prevent moisture from entering the case and causing damage. Dry locations require cases that are airtight, to prevent debris from entering the case and damaging the equipment.

The 71st Anniversary of Pearl Harbor: A Date that will live in Infamy

Friday, December 7th, 2012

7 December 1941. It is “a date that will live in infamy.” It is the date of the Japanese bombing of Pearl Harbor. 353 Japanese planes rained down on the unsuspecting Americans at Pearl Harbor. On that infamous date, 2,390 Americans lost their lives, another 1,282 wounded. The attack also sank or damaged three cruisers, three destroyers, an anti-aircraft training ship, and one minelayer, while destroying 188 U.S. aircraft.

The following day, 8 December 1941, the United States officially declared war on Japan. And within three days, Germany and Italy declared war on the U.S., an act reciprocated by the U.S. the same day.

The United States of America had officially entered World War II.

Veterans Day and Packaging Strategies Inc.: Honoring our Nation’s Veterans

Friday, November 9th, 2012

This Veterans Day, we at Packaging Strategies Inc. would like to thank all past and present service men and women for their dedicated service. Thank You! The History of Veterans Day On November 11, 1918, an armistice, or temporary cessation of hostilities, ceased fighting furing World War I, known at the time as “The Great War.” The next year, President Woodrow Wilson proclaimed November 11 as the first commemoration of Armistice Day. “To us in America, the reflections of Armistice Day will be filled with solemn pride in the heroism of those who died in the country’s service and with gratitude for the victory, both because of the thing from which it has freed us and because of the opportunity it has given America to show her sympathy with peace and justice in the councils of the nations…”

Then, in 1938, an Act (52 Stat. 351; 5 U. S. Code, Sec. 87a) officially made November 11th a legal holiday, a day dedicated to honor veterans of World War I. But following World War II and the Korean War, the 83rd Congress amended the Act of 1938 by striking out the word “Armistice” and instead inserting the word “Veterans.” And on June 1, 1954, November 11th became a day to honor ALL American veterans. Happy Veterans Day from all of us here at Packaging Strategies Incorporated!

The Benefits of Rotationally Molded Cases, also known as Roto-Molded Cases

Stock Cases vs. Custom Cases :: Packaging Strategies Inc.

Thursday, July 12th, 2012

We hear it time and time again. People think that custom cases are luxuries they can do without. They believe that a stock case offers them the same benefits as a fully customized shipping container. Well, simply put, these people are wrong.

While a stock case can offer you many of the same benefits as a custom case, such as durability, water proofing, and resistance to corrosion, a stock case simply cannot offer you the same level of protection as a case fully customized to fit YOUR needs.

Your sensitive electronics and delicate equipment need a custom case specifically designed to their dimensions and specifications to ensure they remain protected during transportation. Custom cases from Packaging Strategies Incorporated (PSI) ensure just that!

Benefits of Custom Cases from PSI

  • Extremely durable
  • Heavy-duty
  • Lightweight
  • Shock resistant / resistant to impact
  • Air tight
  • Water proof
  • Resistant to corrosion
  • Built to withstand a lifetime of use
  • Built to fit YOUR needs

Of course, you could use a stock shipping case and you MAY be okay. But are you willing to take that risk? At PSI, we are committed to designing custom cases that ensure your valuable possessions reach their destination unharmed!

PSI delivers rugged custom cases engineered to your payloads weight, size and vulnerability with shock and environmental testing available. Whether you require single lid, double entry rack cases, custom foam inserts or deck mounted protective cases, PSI will meet your needs.

Happy 4th of July from PSI :: Government and Military Cases and Containers

Thursday, June 28th, 2012

It doesn’t matter if you call it the Fourth of July or Independence Day, July 4th is a time to celebrate our nation’s freedom.

The History of the 4th of July

In 1776, representatives from all 13 American colonies declared their independence from Great Britain. The Continental Congress voted in favor of that declaration on Jul 2nd. Two days later, on July 4th, delegates adopted the Declaration of Independence, a historical document drafted by Thomas Jefferson.

Since that day, the 4th of July has been celebrated as the birth of our nation’s independence. However, it was not until 1941 that the date became a federal holiday.

We at Packaging Strategies Inc. would like to thank all past and present service men and women for their dedicated service. Thank You!

At PSI, our expertise, qualified personnel and on-site production facilities have allowed us to evolve from a small organization focused on supporting the government and military to a multi-faceted company serving both defense and private enterprises.

  • Government Cases & Containers: We’re familiar with the requirements of government contracting. And as a 9001 ISO Certified and Registered company, PSI. is the perfect partner for government agencies and bureaus who need quality products delivered quickly and under budget.
  • Military Cases & Containers: At PSI, we have worked closely with every arm of our country’s defense forces to ensure that the tactical and sensitive electronics they use arrive ready for deployment.
